Jane Desberg will call Eileen in the Town’s Accounting office to see if rents have been paid.  Several items including pumping the septic system and power washing the siding will need to be done before the house is ready for sale.

New Business

Jane Desberg expressed interest in having the SHP apply for CPA money to fund a mortgage subsidy program. She will look into the mechanics of this type of program and report next meeting. The deadline for CPA applications for the next round of funding is thought to be January 1, 2009. The CPA requires setting aside 10% of the funds collected yearly for affordable housing. No CPA money has been used for affordable housing projects in the past two years. Jane will look into how much money has accumulated in the affordable housing account.
